
Frogs Finish in Fourth Place at The Prestige

Frimodt and Giboudot lead TCU in California
LA QUINTA, Calif. – TCU finished in fourth place out of 24 teams at The Prestige on Wednesday at the Greg Norman Course at PGA West.
Freshman Maxence Giboudot shined in his collegiate debut as he tied for 22nd overall with a score of 5-over 218. The native of France had TCU's best round of the tournament as he opened with a 4-under 67.
Giboudot tied with senior Gustav Frimodt, who had two rounds of 1-over 72.
Junior Brandon Massey and Senior Aymeric Laussot shot 7-over 220 to finish tied for 32nd place. Massey carded a final round score of 3-under 68.
TCU was 12-over 864 and finished ahead of Northwestern, No. 22 Colorado State, Louisville and No. 21 Baylor. No. 15 Pepperdine (-8) won the tournament ahead of No. 3 Texas Tech (-2) and No. 6 Stanford (+5).
TCU will make the drive to Las Vegas, Nev., to compete at the Southern Highlands Collegiate beginning on Sunday.
