
2024 Beach Volleyball Schedule Announced

TCU will begin the 2024 spring season Feb. 24
FORT WORTH – Head coach Hector Gutierrez announced the 2024 beach volleyball schedule. In their first year with Conference USA, the Horned Frogs will play in eight spring tournaments while hosting three at TCU's beach volleyball courts.
"We're very excited," Gutierrez said. "C-USA has always been a really competitive conference and I think it will be good for TCU to be apart of it."
The Frogs will begin play Feb. 24-25 at HCU in Houston, Texas, at the Third Coast College Classic. Along with the Huskies, TCU is expected to challenge Central Arkansas, LSU and Washington.
TCU starts March out on the road in Stanford, Calif., on March 1-2. The team will play against Oregon for the first time in program history. Additionally, TCU will face off against ASU, Stanford and UC Davis.
TCU will compete three times in Fort Worth, opening the home slate on March 8-9 at the Horned Frogs Challenge. This will be the first time in the 2024 season the Horned Frogs will compete against a new conference competitor, the Tulane Green Waves, after joining Conference USA for the 2023-24 season. The Frogs will also compete against SFA and TAMUCC at the Horned Frogs Challenge.
The Frogs then fly down to Boca Ranton, Fla., to compete at FAU against the Owls and USC on March 15-16.
The Frogs return home March 22-23 for the Fight in the Fort. TCU will host Washington, a first-time header against the Huskies. FGCU, FIU and ASU will also compete at the Fight in the Fort.
TCU heads back on the road March 29-30 at LSU to play the Tigers, as well as Cal, Stanford and UCLA. The Frogs return home April 5-6 for the TCU invitational, hosting Hawai'i, HCU, Texas and UC Davis.
April features one more road tournament before the postseason. TCU will compete in the Center of Effort Challenge in San Luis Obispo, Calif., hosted by Cal Poly April 13-14.
The C-USA Championship tournament will be held April 25-28, and the NCAA National Championships will be played May 2-5 in Gulf Shores, Ala.
TCU is coming off the most successful season in program history. The Frogs advanced to the semifinals of the NCAA Championship for the first time and won the Coastal Collegiate Sports Association Championship.
The Horned Frogs went 37-3 in 2023 and received their first No. 1 ranking in the AVCA Coaches and CollegeBeachVB.com polls. TCU held that honor for six consecutive weeks. Five Frogs also received seven AVCA All-American honors, including AVCA Pair of the Year Daniela Alvarez and Tania Moreno, this past season.
