Frogs finish the fall in Hockley, Texas
HOCKLEY, Texas – TCU finished in eighth place at the Big 12 Match Play Tournament as play concluded Wednesday at The Clubs at Houston Oaks.
The sixth-seeded Horned Frogs fell to ninth-seeded Cincinnati, 4-1. Jack Beauchamp won his match, 2&1.
Gustav Frimodt lost his match, 2&1, but finished 3-2 over the five matches played as did Andrew Petruzzelli.
Top-seeded Texas won the event with a 4-1 win over runner-up Baylor.
TCU will be back in action in 2024 when it plays in the Arizona NIT, Jan. 29-30, in Tuscan, Ariz.
