Seniors Lead the Way for the Women's Team

Frogs fall short on Senior Night
Fort Worth: Emma Hultquist shines on senior night winning three events as the TCU Women's team fell short to Iowa State 173 to 127.
11 Horned Frogs were honored before the meet began and Hultquist led the way for the Frogs. Her performance in the 200 freestyle shot the Frogs to an early lead. The senior continued to dominate in the 100 freestyle with a first place time of 51.38.
Senior Faith Harms-Zacharias (286.50) led the way on the 1-meter boards. The Frogs finished the event one-two-three with Anna Kwong (285.08) and Gracie Liang (277.95) finishing right behind her. Lauren Cey (272.03) earned fifth place with all four divers earning zone cuts.
On the 3-meter boards, Liang (297.75) and Harms-Zacharias (287.85) finished second and third respectively earning two more zone cuts.
Jordan Edwards competed in both distance events finishing in first and second place. In the 1000 freestyle, she swam a time of 10:11.69 dominating the field by over five seconds. She came just short of a first place in the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:00.15. Olivia Rhodes swam to a first place time in the 50 freestyle with a time of 23.86.
The Horned Frog relay team both led the way, edging the Cyclones in the 200 medley relay and the 400 freestyle relay. In the 200 medley, Rylee Moore, Claire Chahbandour, Jeanne Dahmen and Rhodes swam a time of 1:43.32. the 400 freestyle relay team of Gould, Rhodes, Hultquist amd Lucia Simivicova led the pack with a time of 3:26.08.
Up Next: The men's team will go up against Missouri State tomorrow at 10 a.m. at Nolan Catholic Natatorium.
