Taiwo leads team with 25 points
STILLWATER, Okla. – Tomi Taiwo led the Horned Frogs with 25 points and Lucy Ibeh recorded her second double-double of the season as TCU fell 80-70 to Oklahoma State at Gallagher-Iba Arena on Saturday afternoon.
The Rundown
Trailing by eight points headed into the second quarter, TCU's offense began to come alive. With 6:05 remaining in the period, Lucy Ibeh scored six straight points for the Horned Frogs (two layups, two made free throws) to cut the Cowgirl lead to 23-20.
TCU matched Oklahoma State's 21 points in the second quarter, highlighted by the Frogs shooting 8-of-15 from the field. Headed into halftime, TCU trailed 37-29.
The Cowgirls opened the third quarter on a 12-4 scoring run, but the Horned Frogs continued to battle. TCU outscored the Cowgirls in the fourth quarter and ended the game on a 10-4 scoring run in the final three minutes of the contest.
Tomi Taiwo and Ibeh both shined in the fourth quarter. Nine of Taiwo's team-leading 25 points were scored and Ibeh tallied six points and five rebounds enroute to her second career double-double (18 points, 11 rebounds).

• Aaliyah Roberson made her first career start. It was the first time this season the starting lineup featured Tomi Taiwo, Emily Fisher, Knisha Godfrey, Bella Cravens and Roberson.
