Macnab's 68 Keys TCU at Silverado Showdown

TCU freshman is 3 strokes off the lead
NAPA, Calif. -- Caitlyn Macnab's 4-under 68 led the 28th-ranked TCU women's golf team in Tuesday's second round of the Silverado Showdown in Napa, Calif.
The Horned Frogs are 12th in the standings. The 16-team field includes 11 programs ranked in the top 40 nationally.
Macnab is tied for third individually at 2-under 142, five strokes behind San Jose State's Antonia Malate who sits atop the leaderboard at 137.
Macnab was 6 under her final 15 holes with six birdies and par on nine. She has carded sub-70 scores in four of her last six rounds and a team-best seven overall on the season. The freshman from Johannesburg, South Africa, has shot par or better in 16 of 23 rounds.
Sabrina Iqbal had two birdies on the day, including her final hole, and is tied for 12th at 3-over 147.
After finishing strong in Monday's first round with birdies on her final two holes and three of the last seven, Lois Lau began Tuesday with a pair of birdies on her opening four holes.
