Horned Frogs beat Oklahoma 5-2 to go undefeated in conference play
NORMAN, Okla. -- The nation's top-ranked TCU men's tennis team won 5-2 at Oklahoma to clinch the outright Big 12 Conference Championship Saturday night in Norman, Okla.
The Horned Frogs (22-3, 5-0) initially won a share of the title with Thursday's 5-1 victory at Oklahoma State. Under Head Coach David Roditi, TCU has won five of the last six Big 12 regular-season championships. At 5-0, TCU posted its first undefeated Big 12 season since the 2017-18 campaign.
Quote of the Day
"Our men showed up ready for everything today and that's why we were able to get this 5-2 win on the road," Roditi said. "OU played very well, and it was a very good college match. Our players showed a lot of character hanging in there while it felt like we were down, even though we were never down. Winning the Big 12 Conference regular season is something to be very proud of, and we will certainly enjoy the title. We will need to be ready to go and battle during the tournament next week at home in front of our awesome fans. I'm very proud of the whole team and thankful for our staff that is here to support us. Go Frogs!"
