Five Frogs make their Zone D debut
FORT WORTH — For the fourth consecutive year, Connie Deighton will represent TCU at the NCAA Zone D Diving Championships and David Ekdahl, Alec Hubbard, Anna Kwong, Faith Harms-Zacharias and Sydney Jorgensen will make their first NCAA Zone D appearance.
Competition will begin Monday, March 7 and run through Wednesday, March 9.

Location: Madison, Wis.
Venue: Soderholm Aquatic Center
The entire championships will be broadcasted on B1G+.

Recapping the 2021-22 Season
This past week, Ekdahl made history as the first diver in school history to become a Big 12 Champion after placing first on 1-meter with a school-record score of 388.50. Heading into the last round, Ekdahl needed 31.10 points to secure the win and he was awarded 60.45 on his final dive.
In addition to his 1-meter record, Ekdahl also holds the school record in 3-meter. Other current TCU record holders headed to the Zone D meet include Hubbard on platform (377.03) and Harms-Zacharias on platform (264.90).
During last year's Zone D meet, Deighton was the last diver to qualify for finals on 1-meter (No. 18) with a score of 256.40 but was unable to finish the competition due to injury. She recently placed sixth overall at the Big 12 Championship with a score of 302.60 on 1-meter.
Harms-Zacharias and Hubbard are among the most recent additions to the TCU diving record books. Both Frogs placed third at the Big 12 Championship after scores of 264.90 and 372.50, respectively.
