TCU finishes tied for 10th place
LAS VEGAS – Justin Gums tied a career-best to lead TCU at the Southern Highlands Collegiate as the tournament concluded on Tuesday in Las Vegas, Nev.
Gums shot 1-under 71 in the final round to finish 4-under 212, tying a career-best vs. par. He finished tied for 21st to lead the Horned Frogs, who finished tied for 10th as a team.
Aymeric Laussot and Brandon Massey each finished tied for 29th place at 2-under 214. It was a career-best score for Massey, who competed as an individual.
Jan Schneider finished tied for 44th at 1-over 217 and Filippo Celli was one back at 2-over 218 to tie for 50th place.
The Horned Frogs will return to play March 14-15 at the Grand Canyon Invitational in Phoenix, Ariz.
