TCU Athletics has added more Digital Seat Tags to their sports venues. Fort Worth-based company Digital Seat Media installed over 4,500 tags at Charlie and Marie Lupton Baseball Stadium at Williams-Reilly Field in time for baseball season. This is an expansion for Digital Seat Media; the tech company previously installing over 45,000 Digital Seat tags at TCU's Amon G. Carter Stadium and 6,800 tags at Ed and Rae Schollmaier Arena last summer.
The metal tags allow baseball fans to scan a QR code with their mobile phone to instantly access TCU's Digital Seat Fan Portal without having to download an app. The Digital Seat portal features can include downloadable coupons and offers, team rosters, Instagram filters, viewing player stats, and more. The TCU portal will be available for all home baseball games beginning the spring.
Digital Seat Media has installed over 1,000,000 tags so far at stadiums such as Baylor University, University of Washington, and the Rose Bowl Stadium.
