
Six Horned Frogs Earn All-Big 12 Honors

Sagouspe is TCU’s lone representative on the first team
FORT WORTH – Six members of the TCU baseball team were selected to All-Big 12 teams following a vote among league coaches. Tanner Sagouspe headlines the group as a first-team all-conference performer. Lance Davis was tabbed a second-team all-conference honoree.
Joining Sagouspe and Davis were honorable mentions Chase Brunson, Cole Cramer and Zack James. Brady Dallimore earned a spot on the all-freshman team.
Sagouspe had an outstanding campaign after transferring to TCU in the fall. He leads the team with a 2.51 ERA and has a 3-3 record in 19 appearances to go along with five saves. He has fanned 42 in 32 1/3 innings and is limiting opponents to a .200 batting average. In league play, he had a 2.60 ERA in 12 appearances with all five saves and 22 strikeouts in 17 1/3 innings.
Davis has put together a memorable season on the mound. In a team-high 14 starts, Davis is 5-3 with two complete games. He has been the starting pitcher in three of TCU's five shutouts on the year. He boasts a team-high 80 innings pitch and has struck out 51 while holding opponents to a .236 ERA. Davis was even better in league play with a 5-1 record in 10 starts. He has a 2.97 ERA and 40 strikeouts in 63 2/3 innings.
Brunson sits second on the squad with a .304 batting average in 51 games played. He leads the team with 51 RBIs and 13 stolen bases and is tied for the team lead with 11 doubles. He sits second on the team with 10 home runs. In league play, Brunson hit .301 with a team-high seven home runs and 26 RBIs.
Cramer, the lone Frog to have suited up in all 53 games this season, leads the team with a .313 average. His 66 total hits on the year are tops on the squad. He has eight doubles, one triple and three home runs. His 38 RBIs are third on the team. In league play, Cramer hit .291 with a team-best 37 hits.
James has started eight games out of 15 appearances and leads the team with a 6-0 record. In 59 1/3 innings of work, he boasts a 3.64 ERA and has struck out 48. In league play, James started eight games out of 10 total appearances. He has a 3.56 ERA in 48 innings of work and punched out 33.
Dallimore started 33 games out of 38 appearances in his debut season. He hit .270 on the year with eight doubles, one triple and eight home runs while driving in 23. Dallimore was even better in league play with a .293 average in 24 games played. He tallied 24 hits, seven of which were doubles, one triple and six home runs. He drove in 17.
TCU opens play in the Big 12 Tournament presented by Allstate on Wednesday night at 10 p.m. (CT). The Horned Frogs will play the winner of Tuesday night's Utah vs. Kansas State contest. The game will be televised on ESPN+.
