
Freri, Sadlowski Win Gold at NIC

Five Frogs place in the top three
ELKHART, Ind. – The TCU swimming & diving team had an impressive first day at the National Invitational Championships as Geremia Freri and Piotr Sadlowski both placed first in their respective events.
Freri set a meet record and won the 500 freestyle with a time of 4:18.63. Sadlowski also won the 50 butterfly with a time of 21.30.
The Frogs had two swimmers make the podium in the 50 breaststroke. Jadon Wuilliez came in third with a time of 24.28 and Raphael Paiva Da Lima placed second with a time of 24.27.
Rylee Moore continued her stellar rookie season and placed third in the 50 backstroke with a time of 24.89.
In the 200 freestyle relay, Paiva, Noah Cumby, Wuilliez and Jake Litchfield placed third with a time of 1:19.01. On the women's side, the 400 medley relay team of Moore, Claire Chahbandour, Jeanne Dahmen and Serena Gould placed fourth overall with a time of 3:40.02, the fourth fastest time in TCU history.
The men's 400 medley relay rounded out Day One with a fourth-place finish in the 400 medley relay. The team of Kade Knoch, Wuilliez, Sadlowski and Cumby swam a time of 3:12.31, the sixth fastest time in program history.
