Another penalty plagued the Jayhawks as Kennedy Clountz was fouled in the box in the 28th minute. She converted her first career penalty kick for her second goal of the season to give the Frogs a 3-0 lead.
The second half was no different as the Frogs got scoring started early. In the 51st minute, Gracie Brian delivered a stellar feed past a Kansas defender to a charging Messiah Bright, who scored off her left foot into the high right corner of the net for a 4-0 lead.

Quotes of the Game
Head Coach Eric Bell
On what the freshman bring to this team
"It's interesting. You see some of these kids matrue at different points in the season. I think we're peaking at the right time and our kids are confident. AJ [Hennessey] is in the game now, Kennedy [Clountz] is coming in along with Seven [Castain] and Sarah [Melcher] and they're playing really good minutes. That is what we hope to have within our environment. It takes awhile for them to get adjusted to the speed of the game and the tactics that we employ. Once they no longer have to think about it and they can just go out there and play, it's brilliant."
On carrying the momentum to Thursday
"We're in a really good rhythm right now. Hopefully the goals will come through movement and speed of play, and we just need to continue to do what we've been doing."
