No. 3 TCU takes down No. 2 OSU at Big 12 home-opener

FORT WORTH – TCU Equestrian secures the win against Oklahoma State at the top-three matchup at Bear Creek Farms on Friday.
The meet commenced with Fences, where Ashleigh Scully scored an 87 on Java to earn the MOP for the event. Isabella Baxter also shined with an 85 on Fats. Also riding into a point for the Frogs was Ella Bostwick on Van, who scored an 85. TCU won the Fences event, 3-2.
The meet then moved into Flat, where Ashleigh Scully scored a 79 on Mac to her opponent's 71. Laurel Smith also performed, scoring a 69 on Wiz over OSU's 63. Sydney Berube tied with her opponent at 65-65 on Gipsy. The Frogs and Cowgirls tied the Flat event, earning two points apiece.
Meanwhile, in the Reining arena, Giorgia Medows scored a point for TCU with a 69 on Alfie. Mattie Dukes also secured a point for the Frogs with a 73 on Britney, earning her the MOP for the event. Shea Graham tied with her opponent on Bob, scoring a 69.5. The final score for Reining came out 2-2.
Last up, the Frogs looked to secure their win with Horsemanship. And that they did. Every Horned Frog earned a point against their opponent in the event. Giorgia Medows snagged the first point of the event, with a 75 on George. Mattie Dukes scored a 72.5 on Tony to her opponent's 65.5. Shea Graham rode for a 72 on Cupid, and Jess McAllister on Gomer earned a 75. Payton Boutelle scored a 77.5 on Flash to take home the MOP.
In the end, the Horned Frogs came out on top, 12-6.
