TCU begins second round at 9 a.m. CT
SAN JOSE DEL CABO, Mexico – Lois Lau's 3-under 68 led the TCU women's golf team in the opening round of the Battle at the Beach Friday at Club Campestre San Jose in Mexico.
Lau is in fifth place, one of three Horned Frogs that finished in the top six after 18 holes of play. Sofia Barroso Sa is tied with Caitlyn Macnab for sixth place at 2-under 69. Lau and Macnab each made six birdies and Sa made five.
As a team, TCU shot 1-over 285 and is tied with LSU for third place. Ole Miss (-2) leads the tournament followed by Vanderbilt (E).
The second round will begin with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. CT.
