
No. 1 TCU falls to No. 10 Baylor in Waco

WACO, Texas – The Horned Frogs lost their first Big 12 match-up of the season to the Bears on Friday.
The meet started with Fences, where Ashleigh Scully scored the first point for the Frogs, earning a 77 to her opponent's 74. Also scoring for TCU was Jordyn Scelsa with 84 points to Baylor's 83.
Next up, the battle moved to Horsemanship, where Mattie Dukes defeated her opponent, 76-75.5. Shea Graham also snagged a point for the Frogs, scoring a 76.
In the Flat, the Horned Frogs went 0-5. Action then shifted to the Western Arena where TCU won the Reining event, 3-2. Giorgia Medows pulled in a point, scoring a 70.5 to Baylor's 67. Jess McAllister and Mattie Dukes also secured points for the Frogs, scoring a 69 and a 72, respectively.

The Horned Frogs will return to action on Friday, Oct. 28 for their Big 12 home-opener vs. Oklahoma State.
