TCU Volleyball Ends Non-Conference Season Against Crosstown Rival
FORT WORTH – TCU volleyball (6-3) closes out its 2021 non-conference schedule on Saturday when the Horned Frogs take on SMU (3-6) inside Ed and Rae Schollmaier Arena. The Horned Frogs enter the match with the second highest blocking average in the nation (3.30 blocks/set), looking for their seventh non-conference win at home this season.

- Senior Dani Dennison has been one of the most dependable players on the roster throughout her career.
- She has played in all 119 matches over her college career, starting a majority at libero.
- Dennison has reached 1,381 digs, the second most in program history and just 52 shy of tying the program record, held by Calli Corley
- Dennison is the first Horned Frog in program history to lead the team in total digs over three seasons (2017, 2019 and 2020/21).

Scouting the Opponent: SMU
- The Mustangs enter the weekend with a 3-6 record after a grueling non-conference schedule.
- Played two ranked opponents, No. 13 Oregon and No. 19 Creighton as well as Rice and North Carolina (receiving votes), going 0-4 in those matches, winning a set against both Rice and UNC.
- Have lost six of their last seven matches, with the lone win coming in five sets over Omaha.
- Junior middle blocker Alex Glover entered the week leading the American Athletic Conference in hitting % - .370
- Lost in last match vs Oklahoma, 3-1. making 24 errors, including eight in the fourth set, in Dallas on Thursday night.
- SMU leads the all-time series, 14-7. TCU is 4-5 against SMU in Fort Worth.
