TCU Volleyball Hosts Incarnate Word on Tuesday Night
FORT WORTH – TCU volleyball (5-3) plays its seventh of the eight-match home stand in non-conference play on Tuesday night against The University of the Incarnate Word (5-4). The match is set to start at 7 p.m. inside Ed and Rae Schollmaier Arena.

- The Horned Frogs are 5-1 at home this season, winning all five matches in straight sets.
- TCU set a program record last week, winning 16 sets in a row, the longest set winning streak in the program's 26-year history.
- Defense has been a consistent strong point for the Horned Frogs this season, TCU ranks second in the Big 12 Conference in both opponent hitting percentage and kills allowed, while making the second-most blocks in the Big 12, averaging 2.96/set.
- Junior MyKayla Myers headlines TCU's blocking efforts. The Coppell native is averaging 1.46 blocks/set through the first three weeks of the season, the second most in the Big 12 and the 19th most in the nation.
- Junior RS Afedo Manyang enjoyed her best week of the new season at the Fight in the Fort. She earned MVP honors for the tournament, after rattling off 3.27 kills/set including a season-best 17 kills in her last match vs. HBU – the second most kills she's achieved in a single match as a Horned Frog.
- Junior McKenzie Nichols was named to the All-Tournament team last week after delivering 11.00 assist/set and 2.82 digs/set.

- Senior Dani Dennison has been one of the most dependable players on the roster throughout her career.
- She has played in all 118 of TCU's matches over her college career.
- Dennison has reached 1,373 digs, the second most in program history and just 60 shy of tying the program record.
- She led TCU in digs last season becoming the first Horned Frog in program history to lead the team in total digs over three seasons (2017, 2019 and 2020/21).

Scouting the Opponent: UIW
- The Cardinals come into the match with a 5-4 record.
- UIW won its last match in five sets over Louisiana at the UTRGV Tournament. The Cardinals fell to UTRGV, 3-0, in the prior match.
- UIW is led by two-time all-conference outside hitter Bethany Clapp. Clapp leads the team and the entire Southland conference with 3.49 kills/set.
- This is the second all-time meeting between the two schools. TCU won the prior match, 3-0, back in 2015.
