
TCU Remains in Fourth Place After Improved Round

Celli, Olesen go under par in round three
HUTCHINSON, Kan. – Freshman Filippo Celli remains in the top 10 and TCU remains in fourth place after three rounds of the Big 12 Men's Golf Championship at Prairie Dunes Country Club.
Improved conditions from Monday's extreme wind improved all team scores. The Horned Frogs shot 1-over 281 and is tied with No. 22-ranked Texas Tech at 30-over 870. No. 1 Oklahoma, No. 3 Oklahoma State and No. 6 Texas are tied for first place at 16-over 856.
Celli shot 1-under 69 and moved up two spots to tie for sixth place overall with a score of 5-over 215. Sophomore Jacob Skov Olesen also shot 1-under 69, including a bogey-free 2-under 33 on the back nine. He improved eight spots to move into a tie for 33rd place at 15-over 225.
Sophomore Mateo Fernández de Oliveira shot 6-over 76, but remains in the top 20 at a tie for 18th.
Sophomores Gustav Frimodt and Aymeric Laussot each had their best round of the tournament. Frimodt shot 1-over 71 and Laussot shot 2-over 72. Both moved into a tie for 26th place with a score of 13-over 223.
Similar to the team scores, there's a three-way tie atop the leaderboard at 1-under.
TCU will be paired with Baylor on Wednesday for the final round, which begins at 8 a.m. off hole No. 1.
