The Rundown

The offense provided plenty of run support, scoring at least one run in each of the first four innings. Zach Humphreys gave the Frogs a 1-0 lead in the first with a base hit to drive in Elijah Nunez who had led off the inning with a triple.
TCU put up a five spot in the second. Brayden Taylor had a bases-clearing, three run double to extend the advantage to four. Humphreys followed with an RBI double and scored on a Gene Wood base hit for a 6-0 lead.
Sikes led off the third with the first of his two home runs. Humphreys matched the feat in the fourth with his sixth home run of the year. Four batters later, Sikes unloaded with his second home run of the game, a three-run shot that made it an 11-1 ballgame.
The Frogs went to the bench in the seventh inning and the group of pinch hitters struck for four runs. Austin Henry tripled to lead off the inning and scored on a ball hit by Conner Shepherd. Porter Brown doubled home Shepherd and scored on a Nunez ground out. A passed ball brought home the final run of the game.
