
Frogs Add Memphis Transfer Baugh

FORT WORTH – TCU men's basketball has added Memphis transfer Damion Baugh.
Baugh, a 6-foot-3 guard, arrives at TCU after playing two seasons with the Tigers, which had a combined record of 42-18 during the 2019-21 seasons. As a freshman, Baugh started 25 games and averaged 4.1 points, 3.6 rebounds and finished second on the team with 86 assists (2.6 per game). In his collegiate debut, Baugh had eight assists against South Carolina State, the most by a Tiger in a season opener in 35 seasons.
This past season, the Nashville, Tenn., native averaged 3.4 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game and shot 41.5 percent from the field. The Tigers finished 20-8 and won the National Invitation Tournament.
Baugh was a standout at Tennessee Prep Academy and averaged 23.5 points and 10 rebounds while earning a four-star rating from 247Sports.com. Rivals ranked him as the No. 86 prospect in the nation in 2019.
Baugh joins a TCU incoming class that includes center Souleymane Doumbia.
