
Frogs Finish Fourth at Trinity Forest

Fernández de Oliveira leads TCU
DALLAS – Sophomores Gustav Frimodt and Mateo Fernández de Oliveira finished in the top 10 to lead the TCU men's golf team to a fourth-place finish at the Trinity Forest Invitational Tuesday in Dallas.
Both sophomores shot 1-under 70 for the final round. Fernández de Oliveira shot a season-best 2-under 211 overall and finished sixth. Frimodt tied a season best at 1-over 214 and tied for seventh place. He had his second eagle in as many days when it took him three strokes on the par 5 14th hole.
Sophomore Jacob Skov Olesen shot 1-over 72 on Tuesday, his best round of the tournament. He finished 9-over 222 and tied for 28th place.
TCU moved up two places to fourth with a score of 19-over 817. Playing on its home course, No. 13 SMU (-17) won the tournament at Trinity Forest Golf Club.
The Horned Frogs are next in action March 15-16 at the George Hannon Collegiate in Austin, Texas.
