TCU starts the final round at 9 a.m.

AUSTIN, Texas – Freshman Filippo Celli led the TCU men's golf team through two rounds at the George Hannon Collegiate Monday at the UT Golf Club.

Celli shot an even-par 71 in the first round and 1-over 72 in the second round. He made six birdies on the day and shot 1-over 143 and sits tied for 19^th place.

Sophomores Mateo Fernández de Oliveira and Jacob Skov Olesen had the Horned Frogs' best rounds of the day. Fernández de Oliveira shot 2-under 69 in round one and Olesen shot 2-under 69 in round two. Both are tied for 24^th place at 2-over 144.

Facing a challenging course and 13-team field, TCU is in sixth place as a team at 8-over 576. No. 2 Oklahoma (-13) leads the tournament, just ahead of No. 12 Texas (-11).

TCU will begin Tuesday's final round at 9 a.m. on hole No. 1.
