
TCU Ends Play in Stanford

Frogs finish 20th
STANFORD, Calif. – TCU's men's golf team finished in 20th place on Saturday at The Goodwin, held at the Stanford Golf Course.
The Horned Frogs were one stroke better than their previous round with a score of 12-over 292. They were 39-over 879 for the tournament. No. 8 Arizona won the 28-team event with a score of 15-under 825. The host school, Stanford (-7), was the only other school to shoot under par.
Sophomores Jacob Skov Olesen and Mateo Fernández de Oliveira had the Horned Frogs' best round, each shooting even-par 70. For the tournament, Olesen led the way at 6-over 216 and tied for 46th place. Fernández de Oliveira shot 10-over 220 and finished tied for 68th.
Senior Spencer Ball duplicated Friday's round with a score of 5-over 75 on Saturday. He finished tied for 82nd at 12-over 222.
TCU will next be in action April 5-6 at the Wyoming Cowboy Classic at the Whirlwind Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz.
