RJ Nembhard ties Dixon-era record with 20th consecutive game scoring in double-figures
LUBBOCK, Texas – TCU was unable to climb out of an early deficit in a 69-49 loss at Texas Tech on Tuesday in United Supermarkets Arena.
TCU (12-11, 5-9 Big 12) was led by RJ Nembhard's 10 points, his 20th consecutive game in double-figures. Texas Tech (16-8, 8-7 Big 12) was led by Kyler Edwards' 20 points on 7-of-8 shooting.
Both teams started 4-of-11 from the floor and were tied at 8-8 through the first eight minutes of action. Texas Tech outscored TCU 28-14 over the final 12 minutes of the first half to lead 36-22 at the half.
Texas Tech expanded its lead to as many as 25 points with 3:15 remaining. The Red Raiders shot 51.8 percent from the field and forced the Frogs into 15 turnovers. TCU shot 38.8 percent from the field.

TCU will play at No. 6 West Virginia, its second of three games within a six-day span, on Thursday at 6 p.m. The game will be broadcast through Big 12 Now on ESPN+.
