Lau's 67 Highlights Clover Cup Final Round

TCU freshman ties for 15th
MESA, Ariz -- Freshman Lois Lau carded a 5-under-par 67 to lead the No. 23 TCU women's golf team in final-round play Sunday at the Clover Cup in Mesa, Ariz.
The Horned Frogs posted a 3-over 291 for their best round of the tournament to finish 10th.
Lau's 67 equaled a career-best when she recorded consecutive 67s in the final two rounds of the Kissing Tree Invitational (Nov. 1-2). The Noisy-sur-Ecole, France, native sho ther seventh round of par or better this season.
After an opening round 77, Lau dropped five strokes off her score each day in going to a 72 and then 67 to finish at even-par 216 and in a tie for 15th. She totaled a team-best six birdies with par on 11 holes for her fourth top-20 result in seven tournaments this season.
Sabrina Nguyen, TCU's other freshman in its lineup, had a pair of birdies en route to a 3-over 75, a three-stroke improvement from her second-round score.She had an opening-round 71.
Jennie Park birdied two of her final four holes, as part of three birdies on the day, for a 1-over 73 and her best day of the tournament.
Sabrina Iqbal, who will play in the Augusta National Women's Amateur (March 31-April 3), closed her round with one of her three birdies on the day.
Grace Do, competing as an individual, totaled three birdies en route to a 74 and her top score of the weekend.
