Divers compete Dec. 3-5 in Princeton, N.J.
FORT WORTH – The TCU diving teams are set to compete at the Big Al Invitational in Princeton, N.J. from Dec. 3-5.
Meet Information
When: Friday, Dec. 3 to Sunday, Dec. 5
Where: Princeton, N.J. – Denunzio Pool
Teams Competing: Denver, Utah, George Washington, Rutgers, Columbia
The first day of competition features the men's 1-meter and the women's 3-meter. On Dec. 4, the women's 1-meter and the men's 3-meter will compete. The final day of competition will feature men's and women's platform.
At the SMU Invite, the Frogs had a strong showing on the boards. David Ekdahl broke the school record on the 3-meter with a score of 400.60 as he finished second overall. On 1-meter, Faith Harms-Zacharias placed second overall with a finals score of 272.15.
On the final day of the invite, Alec Hubbard won the platform final with a score of 300.65 and Connie Deighton placed third overall on platform with a score of 226.80.
This is the last competition for the TCU swimming & diving teams before the women's team takes on Iowa State on Jan. 14-15.
