Horned Frogs and Buffaloes to meet Sept. 2 in Boulder
FORT WORTH -- The TCU football team's 2022 season opener at Colorado has been moved to Friday, Sept. 2, with the kickoff time and television selection to be announced later.
The game will mark the debut of the Horned Frogs under new Head Coach Sonny Dykes.
The Horned Frogs and Buffaloes will be meeting for the first time on the gridiron. The home-and-home series will continue in 2023 at Amon G. Carter Stadium in Fort Worth.
TCU will open its season on a Friday for the first time since 2011. The following week that season also marks the last time the Horned Frogs played in the state of Colorado, posting a 35-19 victory at Air Force.
