
Wuilliez Qualifies for FINA World Swimming Championships

The competition will take place Dec. 16-21 in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
FORT WORTH – Adding to his stellar freshman campaign, Jadon Wuilliez has qualified for the 15th FINA World Swimming Championships.
The event will take place Dec. 16-21 in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Wuilliez will be swimming in the 50 breaststroke, the 100 breaststroke, the 4x50 mixed freestyle and the 4x50 mixed relay.
So far this season, Wuilliez has made his mark on the TCU swimming & diving program. He is the school record holder in the 50 freestyle with a mark of 19.83 and he is second on TCU's all-time records list in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 52.72.
He was also on the school record 200 freestyle relay team that clocked a 1:18.76 at the Art Adamson Invitational. At the same meet, he was part of the 400 freestyle relay team that clocked a time of 2:52.39 to break another school record.
For his performance at the Art Adamson Invitational, the St. John's, Antigua and Barbuda native garnered his first Big 12 award as he was named Newcomer of the Week for the week of Nov. 24.
He got his first B cuts of the season at the Art Adamson Invitational with a time of 19.83 in the 50 freestyle and times of 53.23 and 52.72 in the 100 breaststroke.
