Winchester Unveils 2026-27 Swimming and Diving Schedule

Horned Frogs will host two home competitions throughout season
FORT WORTH – As a new season draws near, James Winchester and the TCU swimming and diving program has released its 2026-27 schedule on Wednesday.
With a mix of talented returners, promising freshmen and impressive transfers, TCU looks to improve upon last year's campaign with a tough slate full of conference and nonconference competition.
To open the season, TCU will hit the road for four of its first five meets. The slate will begin with back-to-back duals on the road against Texas A&M (Sept. 25) and Incarnate Word (Sept. 26).
To follow, the women's squad will head out of the Lonestar State to Arkansas for a double dual against Arkansas and Drury in Fayetteville on Oct. 3.
The next week, TCU will venture out to Los Angeles, California, for the USC Invite, as the swimming squad will compete from Oct. 8-9. The last time a swimming and diving cohort competed in California was the 2022-23 campaign when the diving squad competed at the Bruin Diving Invite.
TCU hosts its first of two home meets on Oct. 30, as the women's team will host rival SMU. The inverse will occur the next week, as the men's team will travel to face the Mustangs on Nov. 4.
Following the stint in the DFW area, TCU will head to Austin for three competitions in the Texas Diving Invitational (Nov. 12-14), the Texas Invite (Nov. 18-20) and the US Open (Dec. 2-5)
The Frogs will close out 2026 with two meets at the USA Diving Qualifiers in Midland from Dec. 9-10 and the CSCAA Open Water Championships in Sarasota, Florida, on Dec. 12.
To begin 2027, the second year of the Big 12 East Championship will take place in Houston from Jan. 16-17. Last season, the men's team took home first place at the inaugural event.
TCU will then head back to Austin for the Eddie Reese invite, taking place from Jan. 22-23.
The second and final home meet of the season for the Frogs occurs on Jan. 30, as TCU will host familiar opponent in Oklahoma Christian.
The annual Big 12 Championships will run from Feb. 23-27 in Greensboro, N.C. At last year's Big 12 Championships, the Frogs posted eight top-three placements and set nearly 40 new top-10 marks in school history.
Following the conference meet, the NCAA Zone Diving Championships will span from Mar. 7-10 in Austin, Texas.
To end the season, the Women's NCAA Championships (Mar. 17-20) and Men's NCAA Championships (Mar. 24-27) will take place in Austin, Texas. Nina Vadovicova
