
Two School Records Broken on Final Day of Art Adamson Invitational

200 breast, 400 freestyle relay records fall
COLLEGE STATION – Janis Silins added to his record-breaking weekend by shattering his own school record in the 200 breaststroke on the final day of the Art Adamson Invitational.
Silins' time of 1:54.05 in the prelims gave him his second B cut of the season in the 200 breaststroke. He placed third overall in the finals with a time of 1:54.11. Silins ended the invitational with two school records and four B cuts.
The 400 freestyle relay team also broke the school record with a time of 2:52.39. The squad of Noah Cumby, Raphael Paiva Da Lima, Jadon Wuilliez and Dusan Babic shattered the previous record of 2:54.94.
In the 1650 freestyle, Milan Fabian notched his first B cut in the event with a time of 15:22.76. That time puts him second on TCU's all-time records list. Also in the 1650 freestyle, Jordan Edwards swam a time of 16:59.88, making her 10th all time in program history.
Rylee Moore swam a time of 1:59.36 in the 200 backstroke, earning her the fifth spot on TCU's all-time records list. In the 100 freestyle, Olivia Rhodes and Lucia Simovicova both cracked the Top 10 list with times of 50.64 and 50.83, respectively.
In total, the Frogs broke 12 school records during the three-day Art Adamson Invitational.
On the boards at the SMU Invite, David Ekdahl notched a zone cut on 1-meter with a score of 351.60.
