
Records Fall on Night One of Art Adamson Invitational

Swim & dive broke five school records and notched seven B cuts
COLLEGE STATION – Five records were broken and seven NCAA B cuts were notched on Night One of the Art Adamson Invitational.
Individually, Jadon Wuilliez broke the school record in the 50 freestyle with a time of 19.83, giving him his first B cut of the season. Raphael Paiva Da Lima also had a B cut in the 50 freestyle with a time of 19.93, a time that would have also been a school record if not for Wuilliez's performance one heat later.
In the 400 medley relay, Rylee Moore, Sheridan Schreiber, Ashleen O'Brien and Olivia Rhodes swam a school-record time of 3:39.14. Moore's 100 backstroke split of 53.71 was also good for a school record and a B cut.
In the 200 IM, Luke DiMiceli broke the school record with a time of 1:46.95.
The squad of Wuilliez, Jake Litchfield, Noah Cumby and Paiva Da Lima broke the school record in the 200 freestyle relay with a time of 1:18.76.
Milan Fabian and Geremia Freri both notched two B cuts in the 500 freestyle. In the prelims, Fabian and Freri swam times of 4:22.62 and 4:22.38, respectively. In the A final, Fabian placed fourth with another B cut time of 4:21.56 and Freri finished fifth with a B cut time of 4:21.56.
Rhodes swam a 22.88 in the 50 freestyle B final, moving her up to third on TCU's all-time records list. Marlene Hirschberg's time of 2:02.19 put her sixth all time, and Jordan Edwards clocked a 4:53.25 in the 500 freestyle to be seventh all time.

The Art Adamson Invitational continues tomorrow with the prelims at 9:30 a.m. and the finals at 5:30 p.m. On the boards, the SMU Invite begins tomorrow and will run through Nov. 20 in Dallas, Texas.
