WESTLAKE, Texas – TCU opened its spring men's golf season with a 4.5-3.5 win over No. 19 ranked SMU on Saturday at Vaquero Golf Club.
The Horned Frogs received wins from sophomores Mateo Fernández de Oliveira and Aymeric Laussot and freshman Filippo Celli. Fernández de Oliveira's 4&3 win came against the Mustang's McClure Meissner, the 21st ranked amateur in the world.
The Horned Frogs are next in action Feb. 15-17 when they play in The Prestige at The Club at PGA West in La Quinta, Calif.
