Horned Frogs worldwide can share their passion for TCU
FORT WORTH -- Ahead of the highly anticipated return of college football, TCU fans everywhere are encouraged to unite in their fandom by wearing TCU apparel on Friday, September, 4 for College Colors Day and sharing their spirit with other fans via social media.
The 16th annual College Colors Day, which was created by TCU's exclusive licensing partner, CLC, is a national holiday that provides Horned Frogs fans across the country the opportunity to showcase their unmatched passion and spirit by showing off their pride on social media using the hashtag #CollegeColorsDay.
This year's College Colors Day theme, "United We Fan," emphasizes the power of togetherness that shared fandom for TCU delivers even though fans might be physically apart. While the college football season might look different this year, the unity and pride of TCU fans will be stronger than ever.
"It is always great to be in purple and especially when it is College Colors Day," TCU Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Jeremiah Donati said. "The demand for TCU apparel has enhanced our brand worldwide. We are very appreciative of the pride people have when wearing TCU gear and their passion for the Horned Frogs."
Fans are encouraged to use #CollegeColorsDay to share their spirit on social media and visit CollegeColorsDay.com for various sharable graphics and ways they can engage with the campaign. The site also offers an opportunity for fans to have a chance to win officially licensed TCU collegiate merchandise.
"As the sports world gradually returns from the shutdowns caused by the pandemic, college fans across the country that have eagerly awaited the return of football can celebrate their teams and unite in support of their favorite school," Nicole Armentrout, Vice President, Marketing at CLC said. "We look forward to seeing the countless celebrations of fans who post pictures of themselves wearing their team's colors on College Colors Day."
Nothing unites fans like the pride and passion they have for TCU, and College Colors Day puts that passion on full display on Sept. 4. TCU fans are encouraged to wear their college colors this year to represent and celebrate the community of fans and alumni that make TCU so special because "United We Fan."
