Horned Frogs have won five of their last six games
The Horned Frogs (6-4) have won their last three games and five of the past six. They will now prepare for their 20th bowl game in the last 23 years, including 17 in Gary Patterson's 20 seasons as head coach.
TCU scored on seven straight possessions, including six touchdowns, while the defense forced three turnovers and held the Bulldogs to 244 yards of offense.
The Horned Frogs broke the game open with three touchdowns in a 4:21 span of the first and second quarters, extending a 3-0 lead to 24-0 just 3:04 into the second quarter.
Evans posted his second 100-yard game of the season with 130 yards on just seven carries, while Johnston recorded his second straight 100-yard receiving game with 133 yards on five receptions. Miller added an 89-yard touchdown run, tied for the second-longest rush in TCU history, for the final points of the game and part of his 136 yards.
Leading 31-0 at the half, TCU saw its advantage grow on the first snap of the third quarter when Evans broke free for a 75-yard touchdown run. It was only TCU's third-longest play of the game with Miller's touchdown run and Max Duggan hitting Johnston on a 76-yard scoring pass 27 seconds into the second quarter.
The defense was led by Garret Wallow's season-best 13 tackles and C.J. Ceasar's two interceptions which both set up TCU scores. Ceasar also added two pass breakups.
Ceasar's first pick came on the first snap after TCU took a 3-0 lead on a 22-yard Griffin Kell field goal. Two plays later, Duggan scored on a 5-yard keeper for his team-best 10th rushing touchdown of the season.
TCU's second takeaway of the night, a strip sack by Wallow and recovery by Ochaun Mathis, set up a 4-yard Evans touchdown run to extend TCU's lead to 24-0 with 11:56 to play in the first half. Mathis added two sacks on the night.

TCU will now await its bowl destination to be announced Dec. 20.
