Frogs Win Both Boards, Fall to Florida State

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — TCU's women's swimming and diving team fell to Florida State, 212-88.
NCAA Zone Cuts
Both Izzy Ashdown and Connie Deighton produced qualifying NCAA zone scores on 1-meter. Ashdown took the board with a score of 294.10. Deighton's 277.15 was narrowly edged by .10 for second place.
3-Meter Diving
Deighton notched her first win of the season on 3-meter (266.30), with Faith Harms-Zacharias following close behind (265.60) in second place.
200 Breast
Freshman Mary Jania was the Frogs' lone swimming win of the contest in the 200 breast (2:16.91). Lauren Halliburton finished in second, just .03 seconds behind Jania.
Next Up
TCU's men will compete against FSU at 10 a.m. tomorrow at the Morcom Aquatics Center.
