Team Notes
* TCU head coach Gary Patterson is now 6-2 versus Big Ten opponents.
* TCU extended the Big 12's longest active winning streak to five games. Entering the contest, it was tied for eighth nationally.
* Over the last five seasons, TCU's 49-19 overall record and 30-15 conference mark ranks second in the Big 12.
* TCU improved to 116-5 when allowing 17 points or less under head coach Gary Patterson.
* TCU has won 14 of its last 18 games after an open date.
* The Horned Frogs outgained Purdue 421 to 204 yards.
* TCU is now 100-9 under Patterson when allowing 300 or less yards.
* TCU has six straight wins in its opening road game of the season.
* The Horned Frogs had 346 yards rushing and are now 93-6 under Patterson when running for at least 200 yards.
* TCU was plus one in turnover margin and is now 112-15 when ahead (76-7) or even (36-8) in that category.

Offense
* Darius Anderson had 179 yards rushing with Sewo Olonilua at 106. The last time TCU had two players with at least 100 yards rushing was in 2015, a 52-45 win at Kansas State when Trevone Boykin ran for 124 and Aaron Green 121.
* Anderson's 179 yards rushing were a career-high, surpassing his previous best of 160 yards against Oklahoma State in 2017.
* Anderson has his fifth career 100-yard rushing game.
* Anderson had touchdown runs of 32 and 8 yards. He now has 14 career scoring runs, the most among active Horned Frogs.
* Anderson had two rushing touchdowns against a Big Ten opponent for the second straight season. His 93-yard scoring run against Ohio State last year was the longest in TCU history. He also had a 16-yard touchdown against the Buckeyes.
* Olonilua's 1-yard third quarter scoring run was his first of the season and 11th of his career.
* Al'Dontre Davis' 22-yard third-quarter scoring grab from Max Duggan was his first career touchdown. It capped a 9-play, 92-yard drive.
* Derius Davis made his first career start.
Defense
* Garret Wallow had a team-best 10 tackles, his second-straight game in double figures.
* Wallow had three tackles for loss, including a sack. It was his second consecutive game with at least three stops behind the line of scrimmage.
* True freshman linebacker Dee Winters made his first collegiate start and had two tackles for a loss, including his first career sack.
* Trevon Moehrig had his second interception of the season and third of his career.
* Ross Blacklock had his second sack of the season.
* Jeff Gladney had his first interception of the season and third in his last four games dating back to last season. His five career picks are the most by a current Horned Frog.
