Farabello to Play in U19 World Cup

Argentina begins play on Saturday
FORT WORTH, Texas – Incoming TCU freshman Francisco Farabello will represent his home country of Argentina at the FIBA U19 World Cup, June 29 – July 7 in Crete, Greece.
The 6-2 guard from Canada de Gomez, Argentina has experience in international competition. Last summer, Farabello played for Argentina in the FIBA U18 Americas Championship and averaged 8.3 points, 5.3 assists and 4.3 rebounds a game. Farabello also participated in Basketball Without Borders Americas 2017 in Nassau, Bahamas and the Basketball Without Borders Global Camp at NBA All-Star 2018 in Los Angeles. This past season, Farabello played for the NBA Global Academy in Canberra, Australia.
Farabello and No. 9 ranked Argentina will begin play on Saturday against Russia. A complete list of schedules and results can be found on the FIBA website.
Farabello signed with the Horned Frogs in November. He will be one of nine newcomers for TCU next fall.
