TCU Begins Play at NCAA Championships

Frogs start the second round at 1:27 p.m.
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – TCU began play Friday at the challenging Blessing Golf Club in the first round of the NCAA Championships.
The Horned Frogs faced warm temperatures, a steady wind and many hills throughout the Northwest Arkansas golf course and shot 23-over 311 to tie for 24th place. No team shot under par on Friday. After 18 holes, No. 1 Oklahoma State leads the field of 30 after shooting 2-over 290.
TCU was led by Triston Fisher and Hayden Springer, who each shot 5-over 77 and are tied for 69th place.
Stefano Mazzoli is tied for tied for 87th place after shooting 6-over 78. Turner MacLean and David Ravetto each shot 7-over 79 and are tied for 105th place. Ravetto had one of eight eagles in round one. It was on the par 5 No. 15 hole.
The Frogs will begin round two Saturday at 1:27 p.m. when they tee off with North Carolina and UNLV on the No. 10 hole.
