FORT WORTH, Texas – TCU track and field continues the outdoor campaign on Friday and Saturday, April 19-20, with split squad action. The majority of the roster will head to Waco for the Michael Johnson Invitational while a pair of distance runners will head to California for the Mt. SAC Relays.
MEET INFO
Michael Johnson Invitational:
The meet is scheduled to begin with the men's hammer throw on Friday at noon. TCU's first event on Saturday is the women's discus throw and running events begin at 1 p.m. The Horned Frogs will compete against several top 25 teams in the meet, including Texas Tech's No.1 ranked men, Texas A&M's No.2 men and No.2 women, Kansas State's No.11 women, Baylor's No.12 men and No.25 women, Texas's No.13 men and No.15 women, and Arkansas's No.24 men.
FloTrack will provide a live stream of the meet.
Mt. SAC Relays:
TCU will send distance runners Evelyn Mandel and Kirsten Johnston to compete in the 5,000m at Mt. SAC. Mandel will compete in the invitational 5,000 at 9:50 p.m. CT and Johnston will compete in the open 5,000m at 11:35 p.m. Live results are available via the meet's official website.
