WACO, Texas – After finishing the first half of the meet tied with No. 1 Auburn, 4-4, the No. 8 TCU equestrian team was unable to continue its momentum into the second half, falling, 12-4, in the quarterfinals of the National Collegiate Equestrian Association Championship at the Extraco Events Center on Thursday.
Director of Equestrian Haley Schoolfield
"It was a very good competition today. We are really proud of how we rode. It was an honor to be here and compete against Auburn. They rode incredibly well and so did our student-athletes. We'll look forward to continuing on tomorrow in the individual events. The horsemanship squad really came out on fire and rode like we know that we can. I know that was a big motivator and point of excitement for our team and they are very excited to play again tomorrow."
