
Frogs Remain in Eighth Place

Mazzoli shot a TCU best 4-under 68 Monday
LAS VEGAS – TCU's men's golf team remains in eighth place after the second round of the Southern Highlands Collegiate.
Senior Stefano Mazzoli tied for the second lowest score of the day at 4-under 68 to move up 40 spots and is tied for 37th place at 3-over 147. Mazzoli was 4-under 32 on the front nine with four birdies at the Southern Highlands Golf Club.
Senior Pierre Mazier continues to lead the Frogs as he is tied for 18th place at 1-under 143 after shooting 1-over 73 on Monday. Senior David Ravetto is right behind Mazier at 1-over 145 and is tied for 24th place. Ravetto was one of three Frogs to shoot under par at 1-under 71.
Senior Hayden Springer shot 2-under 70 and is tied for 30th place at 2-over 146.
As a team, TCU shot 12 strokes better than its opening round at even par 282. In a tournament that features seven of the nation's top 20 teams, the Frogs are head of No. 6 USC, No. 7 Auburn and No. 13 Pepperdine heading into Tuesday's final round. No. 4 Georgia Tech leads the tournament at 11-under par 565.
The Frogs will begin the final round at 10 a.m. CT Tuesday. Live streaming of the tournament will begin at 2 p.m. at GolfWeek.com.
