The back-and-forth battle continued into the second quarter although TCU hit a bit of a cold stretch, missing their first four shots. The Frogs finished strong, however, putting together a 13-2 run, making five of their final six shots of the half, to take a lead it would not relinquish the rest of the night. It would go on to shoot a dazzling 73.3 percent and score 31 points in the quarter, tying for its highest-scoring stanza of the season, en route to a commanding 68-47 advantage. Ray had 11 points in the frame, making all three of the 3-pointers she attempted.
From there the Frogs cruised to the victory with Kansas never getting closer than 10 the rest of the way.

Quote of the Day
TCU Head Coach Raegan Pebley
"This was a game where a lot of people played important roles and did their jobs, whether it was locking in on the defensive end, doing what needed to be done on the boards or playing player's tendencies. It was just a more focused game. Every road game is a tough game in the Big 12. It iss so hard to win on the road, so you value those wins, you appreciate them and you celebrate them.
"Jordan has just been really consistent for us. She isn't forcing anything and her teammates aren't forcing it into her. She is playing really patient, smart basketball and just continues to be steady for us."
Up Next
TCU will remain on the road on Saturday when it travels to Norman, Okla., for a 4:30 tipoff against Oklahoma.
