Horned Frogs look for victory in revenge match with Kansas
FORT WORTH – TCU volleyball looks to reverse the score line from its last match against Kansas, when the Jayhawks claimed a victory in Lawrence back on October 19. The chance comes Saturday at 5:00 p.m. when TCU hosts KU inside The Rickel.
The Horned Frogs have plenty to build on after setting multiple individual and team records in their last match, on the road at Kansas State.

- This will be the second meeting of the season between TCU and Kansas, KU claimed the opening match in three sets earlier this season, in Lawrence.
- It was the first start at libero for Dani Dennison, who responded with a career-best performance - 21 digs in three sets (7.00 digs/set). She is one of just three players in the Big 12 to earn more than 20 digs in a three-set match and the only to do so in a conference match this season.

-Nalls made an impact all over the court tonight as she finished with seven kills, 15 digs, five aces and five blocks.
Tough as Nalls
-Audrey Nalls leads all Big 12 freshman in kills per set (3.07) and points per set (3.61).
-She is eighth overall in the conference in kills per set and sixth points per set through 20 matches.
-Nalls has emerged as one of the great all-around talents in the Big 12. She is the only freshman in the Big 12 to be averaging 2.50+ kills/set, 2.00+ digs/set and 0.67+ blocks/set.
-In her last match, against K-State, she tallied career-bests in aces (5), blocks (5.0) and digs (15), helping TCU set a Big 12 program record with 13 aces.
-She set a career-high in hitting percentage, collecting 13 kills on 23 attacks (.391 hitting percentage) against No. 6 Texas.
-Nalls has delivered at least eight kills in 18 of her 20 career college matches.
-She reached 200 career kills in just 61 sets, one of the fastest rates in program history, behind some familiar faces McCall (40 sets – 2018) and Jill Kramer (37 sets - 1996).
Nichols Drops Dimes
-Since taking over the setting duties before the Texas match, McKenzie Nichols has shown tremendous strides, setting a new career-best with 59 assists against Texas Tech (10/6) while tallying over 30 assists in six of the last eight matches, inclduing 40+ assists in two of her last three.
-She is averaging 10.2 assists/set since taking over primary duties.
-She earned Big 12 Rookie of the Week honors after dropping 91 assists over the course of eight sets (11.38 assists/set) at the start of the month (10/2-10/6).
-Her 59 assists against Tech were the sixth most assists by a freshman in a single match in program history, the most recorded by a freshman in the 25-point set, rally scoring era.
-Her 59 assists stand as the most by a setter in Big 12 play this season and is tied for the second-most assists in a single match by a Big 12 setter this season.
-She has posted four double-doubles in Big 12 play, second most in the conference by a setter. She tallied 40 or more assists in two of those performances, only Zerwas (WVU) has more 40+ assist double-doubles in Big 12 play this season.
Scouting the Opponent: Kansas
-Kansas enters the match with an identical 7-13 record but with the advantage of one more Big 12 win, 3-7.
-The Jayhawks are coming off a 3-0 home sweep of Texas Tech on Wednesday.
-While not boasting a very notable offensive attack, 11.23 kills/set is last in the Big 12, Kansas does pose a threat in the blocking game. KU is second in the conference with 2.62 blocks/set, just .01 behind first place Baylor. That mark is tied for 22nd nationally and 10th among Power 5 conferences
-Rachel Langs leads KU with 1.19 blocks/set. She is the younger sister of TCU middle blocker Rachel Langs.
-Kansas leads the all-time series, 13-3.
