TCU begins the final round at 9:26 a.m.
ALPHARETTA, Ga. – Junior Thomas Allkins continues to lead the TCU men's golf team after the second round of the Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate Invitational Saturday at the Golf Club of Georgia's Lakeside Course.
Allkins moved up four places from Friday's opening round and is tied for seventh place with a score of 1-under 143. The Keller, Texas native withstood temperatures in the 50s with rain and a steady wind with gusts up to 23 MPH to shoot 1-over 73 on Saturday.
As a team, TCU shot 17-over 305 and stands in 14th place at 21-over 292. No. 10 Duke (-1) leads the loaded 14-team field, which includes 12 of the nation's top 34 teams.
The Frogs will begin the final round at 9:26 a.m. CT Sunday on hole No. 10.
