Horned Frogs ready to embrace opportunity against Top 10 opponent, Texas
FORT WORTH – TCU volleyball (5-7, 0-2 Big 12) will play in front of its 10th consecutive sellout crowd Wednesday night when the Horned Frogs welcome No. 6 Texas to The Rickel. TCU is looking for its second home victory over Texas in the Jill Kramer era as the team strives for its first Big 12 victory of the season. The match is scheduled to begin at 8:00 p.m. on ESPNU.
Match Information
Nalls Well That Ends Well
-Nalls leads all Big 12 freshman in kills (143), kills per set (3.40) points (162.0) and points per set (386).
-She is sixth overall in the conference in kills per set and in points per set through 12 matches.
-The Waxahachie native has been the Horned Frogs primary offensive weapon all season as she leads the team in kills, attacks and points, playing all six rotations.
Freshmen Phenoms
-The Freshman Horned Frogs have provided plenty of evidence to back up their ranking as the fifth best recruiting class in the nation. TCU is led by freshmen in kills (Nalls), total attacks (Nalls), assists (Uçar), aces (Manyang) blocks/set (Manyang) and points (Nalls).

-Texas enters the weekend with an 8-2 (2-0 Big 12) record after winning both of its home conference matches last weekend (3-1 vs. Iowa State and 3-0 vs. Texas Tech).
-They are ranked No. 6 in the AVCA Coaches poll, Texas has been ranked in the Top 10 every week this season.
-This is the first conference road test for the Longhorns, they finished last season 7-1 in road Big 12 matches.
-Texas is led by two of the most potent outside hitters in the conference, Micaya White and Logan Eggleston. White leads the conference with 4.78 points per set while Eggleston is averaging 4.00 kills/set on .353 hitting thus far.
