Quotes from the Match
Head Coach Jill Kramer
Opening Statement
"Our marketing department did a great job of packing the house for us. We had a lot of fans in the stands and they were live the whole time.
"In the first set, our team stayed really composed. We were down four or five points when I called my last timeout and we just stayed really composed. I didn't think there was one ounce of doubt in anyone's mind and it showed me that our heads were in the right place and we had a lot of confidence in one another. To come back and get on it and stay on it in sets two and three is very tough. Especially in the first conference match when everyone is battling and we executed the game plan really well. I can tell they did work on their own and they did a really good job of being students of the game this week. The last two days we have put our best two days of practice in a row together since school started and it showed tonight. We have talked about effort and making sure we put in the work every day so we know we are prepared and we have confidence in our preparation and it really showed tonight. I am proud of them."
