TCU Equestrian Enters Season Ranked No. 5 by NCEA

The Horned Frogs will host eight home meets this season.
FORT WORTH, Texas – After reaching the National Collegiate Equestrian Association team semifinals last season, the TCU equestrian team will enter the 2018-19 season ranked fifth, as announced by the NCEA on Wednesday.
TCU is ranked in the preseason for the seventh consecutive year after being ranked sixth to open last year. Fifth is the second-highest ranking to open the season in program history.
The Horned Frogs have been ranked in the NCEA preseason poll all six seasons under Director of Equestrian Haley Schoolfield.
TCU welcomes 12 talented newcomers to the roster, while losing just eight student-athletes from last year's team.
The Horned Frogs open the 2018 campaign on Sept. 21 with an 12:30 p.m. exhibition against Texas Tech. TCU then kicks off the regular season at 11 a.m. on Sept. 27 against Delaware State. Both meets will be held at TCU's home facility, Turning Point Ranch in Springtown, Texas.
