
Soccer Kicks Off Athletic Year Friday

FORT WORTH - The TCU women's soccer team is set to kick off the 2018-19 athletic year Friday night when the Horned Frogs play host to 2017 NCAA qualifier Alabama at 7 p.m. The game will be televised on FSSW+.
TCU NOTABLES
• TCU returns 22 letterwinners and eight starters from a year ago.
• The Horned Frogs were picked to finish fifth in the Big 12 preseason poll.
• Katie Lund was named to the MAC Hermann Award Watch List.
• Karitas Tomasdottir and Yazmeen Ryan were tabbed preseason All-Big 12.
• Ryan is TCU's top returning scorer, netting four goals and tallying five assists.

TCU is looking to pick up scoring where it left off a year ago as it returns more than half of its scoring this season.
The 22 returners contributed 65% (22) of the goals scored, 54% (19) of the assists tallied and 61% of TCU's total points.
PRODUCTION COMPANY
TCU boasted the third-best offense in the Big 12 with an average of 4.68 points per game and fourth with its 1.55 goals per game.
Fourteen Horned Frogs contributed to TCU's 103 total points this season. Ten Frogs scored a goal, while 11 notched at least one assist.
Since Eric Bell's arrival on campus, TCU is averaging 27.8 (1.38 GPG) goals per season, 28.3 (1.40 APG) assists per season and 84 (4.16 points per game) points per season.
