The Frogs will begin play on Wednesday with first round matches in each of the four events. Competition for the team championship will being on Thursday, when the Frogs take on No. 3 Oklahoma State.
TCU (8-8) last competed on March 30-31 when it finished second at the Big 12 Equestrian Championship. The Frogs have won six of their nine matches this spring, and head into Nationals having made the semifinals the past two seasons.
The Rundown
This year, the NCEA National Championship format has been expanded to include event and discipline national championships, as well as the standard team national championship. The team bracket features just eight teams competing in a single elimination format.
The event brackets feature up to 16 teams, also competing in single elimination formats across the four standard events: Equitation Over Fences, Equitation on the Flat, Horsemanship and Reining.
Discipline national championships will be awarded in Western and Hunt Seat based on a point system used during event play.
The team, event and discipline national champions will be recognized on Saturday.
